I absolutely adored the charming and traditional Portuguese decor of the hotel. From the beautiful tiles on the walls to the cozy furniture, it truly captured the essence of Lisbon. The hotel's general areas were lovely and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for senior visitors like myself. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with smooth floors and handrails throughout.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff regarding activities and attractions suitable for senior visitors.

The location is excellent, near many attractions of Lisbon. Nice enough area close to restaurants and bars. Since it is close to Cerveja Canil, I chilled out there once or twice...

The apartment at Casa Portuguesa Fanqueiros was amazing! It had a fully equipped kitchen where I could cook my own meals and a dining table to enjoy them. I loved that each unit also had a comfy seating area with a sofa, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Lisbon. The private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer in each unit was very convenient for me as someone with physical handicaps. I also liked that the apartment had a cable flat-screen TV, so I could unwind and watch my favorite shows. The ironing facilities in each unit were a nice touch, ensuring that I always looked presentable during my stay. Having a desk in the apartment was helpful for me to catch up on work or plan my day.
Personally, I found the oven in the apartment to be unnecessary for my needs, but others might enjoy using it.

The location was lit, right in the heart of Lisbon. We could walk to Rossio and Dona Maria II National Theatre in no time, and even checked out St George's Castle. The apartment was dope, had all the essentials and was so fresh. Our host was super chill and helped us with everything we needed. Best vacay ever!
If I had to pick one thing, it would be that the nightlife options around the apartment were a bit lacking. We were young party animals looking for some crazy fun, but had to venture a bit further to find the lit party scene.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely apartment in a prime central location. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had great facilities. The beds were comfortable and the overall atmosphere was safe and secure. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Although there were a few downsides, such as the lack of a lift and the non-functioning sockets in one of the bedrooms, these were factors that I was aware of beforehand. Additionally, I would have preferred some armchairs in the living room for added comfort.

Within a short distance of Rossio, the stunning square that captures the essence of Lisbon, Casa Portuguesa Fanqueiros is a family-friendly haven. With spacious and clean rooms, our accommodation provided a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city. The Dona Maria II National Theatre, just a stone's throw away, offered captivating shows that thrilled both young and old. And let's not forget St. George's Castle, a majestic fortress that provided panoramic views of Lisbon. Our family had a delightful time immersing ourselves in the history and culture of these incredible places.
My wife says that a designated play area for kids would have been a welcomed addition to the hotel.

No elevator in the building, difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. Bed sheets were old and not clean.

The room at Casa Portuguesa Fanqueiros was fantastic! It had a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, which was perfect for preparing and enjoying our vegetarian meals. The private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries was a convenient bonus. as vegetarian guests, we found the room to be incredibly comfortable and suited our needs perfectly.
While the room had a cable flat-screen TV, we didn't find much use for it as we preferred exploring the beautiful city of Lisbon instead.
